's being laid off.
however, at some point such rumors may become a self-fulfilling prophecy.. we have already observed massive layoffs and attrition at bethel.

Their words will carry less weight when they are officially "disgruntled" ex-employees. They could still use some documents, but....

One thought:
After paying out the lawsuits, they realize how much the COs and DOs know that could make open-and-shut cases for future lawsuits.
They will be eliminated. It is the prudent thing to do on their part. They don't want all those middle-management people with inside information turning against them on lawsuits, or as has happened in the past, on doctrinal issues. -

I was shunned and love-bombed yesterday!

i was walking downtown in the morning when i crossed paths with one of the sisters from the hall.
as i was walking toward the little cell phone shop she had just walked out of when she looked right at me and whirled on her heel 180 degrees and walked really fast to the bank.

Watchtower Languages
by cameo-d ina few years back, a jw friend told me that the watchtower houses the largest language library in the world because they have the magazines translated into every known language.
do any of you know if that is true?
everytime i see the babble fish for translation on a website, i wonder if her story was true and if perhaps watchtower has contributed to the internet powers or some of the groups that have provided these translations and if more language translations would be available in the future as more countries are opening to internet services.

Is this right? League bans 9 year old for being too good!
by keyser soze ina 9-year old pitching phenom has been banned from pitching in his age group because some parents have complained that he throws the ball too hard.
supposedly it has to do with the safety of the kids, though i think it's just another example of the wussifying of our country.
there are definitely other factors at play:.

Sports are dangerous.
There is just as much, no actually MORE of a chance that someone with less ability would hit a kid. Think about it.
He is like a super-sharp knife. It is less dangerous, because it works better. -
